Paypal:
The most popular payment system on the web today. You must register on www.paypal.com.
You pay with visa or mastercard or electronic check against your checking
account. Until you are verified (takes about 3 days) you may be restricted
to no more than $500. The system is easy to follow .
Billpoint:
The payment system of ebay, www.billpoint.com, competes with paypal and has
similar restrictions and requires registration and verification. It can be
used for purchases other than on ebay. Visa, mastercard, discover card and
AmericanExpress, as well as electronic checks are accepted.
YahooDirect:
The payment system of yahoo! is similar to Paypal
and billpoint. It can be used for purchases other than on yahoo!. Visa, mastercard,
discover card and AmericanExpress, as well as electronic checks are accepted.
Money Order/Bank Draft:
Personal checks are not accepted, or accepted
with condition that shipment will be made only after the check is cleared.
This may take upto 2 weeks. Money orders, or bank drafts either from US postal
service, or major banking institutions are welcome. Please allow 3-5 days
to clear.
Wire Transfer:
This is the fastest and most secure method. Please advise your bank to pay

Use this option when you are not sure of final costs because of special requests,
special services or unlisted changes, or may be uncertain about which of the
above options to use. We will send you a final invoice and instructions in
24 hours. Please write in the special box below your special concerns and
requests.
Escrow
Payment: For items valued at least $1,000
we may arrange escrow payment to facilitate your seeing your purchase before
commiting to purchase. Typically, an escrow company will hold the payment
for specific inspection period. If you decide not to purchase, your money
is returned, minus service charges, typically 3% of the purchase price. Shipping
charges are not refunded. If you decide to purchase the item, the escrow company
forwards the payment, minus service charges. In the event of purchase, unitedjewelers.com
bears the cost of service charges.
Layaways
and Partial Payments:
No item will be shipped until paid in full.
To insure that the item you are interested in does not sell before you
have a chance to get your questions answered, you pay 10% of purchase
price as downpayment. This deposit is refundable if you notify unitedjewelers.com
within 48 hours of your initial order. During this downpayment period
you contact us for information, confirmation of order, special features
you want, and adjustment to final price, if any. If you decide not to
proceed with your order, your money will be refunded in full. If all parties
agree, you will be advised to post an additional deposit and a payment
schedule.
Buyers may choose to pay
in installments ranging from 2 to 6 payments over a maximum of 3 months.
The order form allows for installments. Since each jewelry item is unique
and your requirements may vary, we will inform you of any special arrangement
that may be mutually agreeable. If you have some specific needs or requests
please let us know by email and let us agree on specific terms in writing.
If your partial payments
are for special orders and changes, in the form of deposit, you will be
informed at the time of accepting your order if such payments are refundable,
or can be applied to other items. All special orders require
1/3 to full price as deposit. You will be given a delivery date at the
time of the order. You will be entitled to withdraw your deposit if such
delivery date is not acceptable, or unitedjewelers.com fails to meet its
promised schedule. Our staff is available to assist you to make your purchase
a pleasant online shopping experience. We keep you informed of progress
of your order and notify you if there are snags, or changes.
Layaway payments are generally
not refundable after 15 days unless agreed otherwise at the time of
the order.
